1 INT. JOE'S KITCHEN - MORNING
JOE is on the table sick as as dog. Mom comes in.

                                  MOM
              Whats wrong Joe, are you OK?

JOE mumbles and grumbles
                                   JOE
               Not really mom, i ate something and
              it made me sick. Call the doctor now!

JOE passes out on the table. 

2 EXT. OUTSIDE OF JOE'S HOUSE - MORNING
The ambulance parks and two gentleman rush out and go into the house.
                                   GENTLEMAN 1
               WHERE IS HE!!!

                                    MOM
               PLEASE COME IN HERE, HE NEEDS HEEELPPP!!
GENTLEMAN 2 attends to Joe and puts him on a wheelchair
Joe screams painfully.

3 INT. HOSPITAL - NIGHT
JOE is up on his bed eating a yogurt as he conversates with his MOM.
                                     JOE
                I'm telling Mom, I think it's the tacos
                you made me yesterday. They tasted good but
                they had a wierd taste to it.
                                    MOM
                I'm sorry Mijo, I don't know what it was.
                Oh no, waiting a second, did you grab the
                spoon I was mixing the meat with?
                                    JOE
                What are you talking about Mom, Oh wait
                a second, yes I took the spoon because it looked 
                rusted so I gave you the other one
                                   MOM
                Which other one, I did not wash dishes
                yesterday, so you got the one I mixed car
                oil with to start the car.
                                   JOE
                Are you serious, Please change the 
                conversation cause I'm feeling sick again
Mom begins to start laughing about the situation again and JOE
seems upset. 
4  INT BURGER KING - AFTERNOON
JOE commands the other employees to work harder because there's a line out 
the door of the restaurant.
                                   LISA
                 Joe, I haven't gottn my break yet. I need to go
                                   JOE
                 Are you serious, you don't see what's happening?
                                   LISA
                 I know but i'm waiting for an important phone all.
                                   FREDDY
                 Yea, joe, let her. she wants to know if she got the job
                                   JOE
                 What job, I just gave you a raise, you've got to be kidding me
                                   LISA
                 He's joking joe, can i go now?
More people come in and Joe looks at her and says
                                  JOE
                 IF YOU GO, YOU ARE FIRED!!
Her phone rings, and she answers it as she makes a whopper
                                   LISA
                  JOE, HAVE AN AWESOME DAY, PLEASE FIRE ME!
LISA walks out of the restuarant and joe throws an empty cup at her.
5 INT JOE'S OFFICE EVENING
JOE works on employees schedules. MELISSA comes into JOE's office concern 
about something
                                   MELISSA
                    Joe, can I ask you something
                                    JOE
                    I gave you the weekend off, you ok with it?
                                    MELISSA
                    OH YEA, but Im also resigninig, LISA is my
                    best friend. I'm sorry Joe.
JOE becomes very upset but tries to keep his composure
                                    JOE
                    Listen MELISSA you are one of our best workers
                    I do not want to lose you. I thought that you needed
                    this job. Did you find one already?
                                     MELISSA
                    NO but LISA has been my best friend and 
                    I cannot work without her
JOE becomes very angry 
                                      JOE
                    YOU KNOW WHAT!! JUST GO and do not come
                    to get your job back. leave noooowwww!!!

1 INT NITO'S HOUSE - EVENING
There a big sound outside and wakes up NITO. His mother also
wakes him up. The sound was of the daily newspaper truck that threw
the newspaper that needs delivery. NITO wakes somewhat still asleep.
                                        MOTHER
                    Ya levantate Nito, lla lego el papel(
                                        NITO
                                       ok mami
NITO grabs the pack of newspapers and pulls them into the 
house. He grabs a knife and cuts the rope that holds them. He
then gets his rubber bands and starts rolling the papers and placing 
them on a sack. 
2 EXT FRONT OF NITOS HOUSE-EVENING
Nito grabs his pack of rolled up newspapers and puts it on the side of 
the right side of the banana bike. His nieghbor comes up and starts talking
to him
                                        RICKY
                    You readyfor the dogs man?
                                        NITO
                    I sure am, you see this?
NITO points to his handle bars where he has a stick located. He gets the
stick out and demonstrates to RICKY how he will deal with mean dogs.

NITO rides his bike as if he is riding a harley davidson. He feels the wind blowing his hair. He smells his neighborhood odors, He hears the cars passing him and he enjoys every minute of it. 

3. EXT FRONT OF MIRTHA'S HOUSE - EVENING
As NITO rides in fron of his 6 grade wish it was girlfriend, he stares to see if he can see her. He almost hits a dog and he swerves. His friend PEDRO flags him down.
                                       PEDRO
                   Hey man, wait for me i'm almost done.
                                       NITO
                   I can't, not today, I'm running late
                                       PEDRO 
                  OH, so it's like that huh, you have time
                  for your little girlfriend but not for me, Look
                  there she is....
Mirtha gets out of her house to throw some trash.
                                       NITO
                  Waves at her and she waves back
PEDRO starts making fun of NITO and he drives away emabarrased. 

4. EXT LALOS GROCERCIES STORE -EVENING
Nito finishes his paper route and rides his bike eagerly to Lalo's corner store to buy
himself the newly coming in marbles. As he opens the door, Lalo greets him
                                       LALO
                    Hey Homie, how many dogs bit you this time
NITO laughs and aks
                                       NITO
                     Where's the new marbles, did they not come in?
                                       LALO
                     Yea but you almost missed them, I moved
                     for you they are over there.
                                        NITO
                     O wow, great thank you lalo
Nito walks over to the location where Lalo placed the marbles
as he checks which ones he will buy, Mirtha comes in with her sister
NITO does not notice
                                         MIRTHA
                      Mr. Lalo, how much is this?
NITO hears the voice and his heart melts. He stops looking at the
marbles and turns over to where the voice came from. He walks to
the counter to pay for his marbles.

                                         LALO
                       Thats 50 cents, Did you get the one 
                       you wanted NITO?
                                          NITO
                       Yes, thanks to you, I did. How are
                       you doing today Mirtha
                                         MIRTHA
                                     I'm good, lets go.
Mirtha very shy, tells her sister to go and they leave the store. NITO
Stares at them as they leave and smiles big. 

5 INT LALO'S CORNER STORE - EVENING
After searchinng all the bags for the best marbles, NITO, grabs
2 bags that he feels are the best. He walks over to the counter to pay.
                                          LALO
                         That's all you're getting today buddy
                                          NITO
                         Oh yea, I don't nee much, The rest of them
                         will be mine tomorrow when I play.
                                          LALO
                         YEA RIGHT, try playing my son, he will
                         win all those marbles in one game
                                          NITO
                          Cool set it up man, anytime
                                         anywhere.
NITO walks out the door very confident.  a mean dog barks at NITO 
so he comes back in the store.
                                           NITO
                           Hey LALO the pit bull is out, call
                          somebody
LALO gets his shotgun from underneath the counter and walks out the store.  a shot 
is let out. NITO walks out and finds out that the shot scared the dog away
                                           NITO
                          AW man, where did he go? 
                                          LALO
                          I DONT KNOW AND I DONT CARE
                          NEXT TIME I AM GOING TO SHOT HIM.

NITO gets on his bike and rides into the sunset to his house.

6 EXT SCHOOL YARD MORNING
NITO plays marbles with the big boys. There are about 6 players involved. 2 new ones come in, PEDRO and FRED
                                          PEDRO
                         For how many are you guys playing for

                                         NITO
                         5 big ones, are you jumping in?

                                          PEDRO
                          Man, I only have 3, can i borrow some?

                                         FRED
                          I got some for you
FRED give PEDRO some marbles and they get into the game. Big Homie hits NITO and beats all of them and wins the game. All the games starting giving him marbles because they lost.

7 EXT SCHOOL YARD AFTERNOON
The dismisal bell rings, everyone runs out of the classrooms. Nito, is sad because he lost his marbles in the morning game. So he decides to play the rookies. He goes to the school yard where students are waiting for the parents to pick them up and so they are playing marbles.
There is a game going on.
                                        NITO
                       hey, yo man, how many are you guys going
                       for.
                                        CHICO
                        We are going for 10 homie
NITO knowing that he has but hsi shooter in his pocket agrees to play.
                         Come man, put them up.
                                        NITO
                        I gottem dont worry about them.

Game on. Nito ends up beating 3 players which all of them put up 10 nmarbles. So he hustle the 3 players and won 30 marbles in this match.
